Brugmansia Suaveolens is a developing not many branch which can reach 2 to 3 metres high, usually with a central trunk.
The flowers are remarkably beautiful and exceptionally flagrant. The corolla has 5 ends that are slightly curved. The flowers are usually white, but can be yellowish ; they are pending, almost completely. The large flowers are born for a major part of the year.
The leaves are generally oval, green and up to 30 cm long by 18 cm wide; and even more great if grown in the shade.
The fruits are interesting, they are 12-18 cm long and are rough.
The Brugmansia are toxic, all parties are poison.
Hardiness zone : 4°C mini in winter. She gar to short periods of cold, but is grown better if the temperature never falls below 0°C. Obtain a minimum temperature in winter of 7°C and reduce watering.
Germination : easy to grow from seed. Soak the seeds in hot water for 24 hours before sowing surface in a compost for seed. Cover all a bit of compost or vermiculite. Keep the soil moist but never soggy surface. Germination occurs in 14-30 days, sometimes more.
