Licuala Spinosa is a particularly elegant Palm tree. It is of short stature and reach 3-4.50 m mature, and will form a vigorous clump which may exceed 4 m in diameter.

Note that Stipe and petioles are quite generously staffed spines, hence the name of the Palm. Unlike most other Licuala, this Palm like keep wet feet and supports full sun. Station to wet cold it will be less chance of survival.

The leaves are circular, deeply cut, finely grooved. With age, they can reach up to 1 m diameter in good conditions. Shades of green vary according to conditions of culture.

The fruits are green-Orange, orange and then red-live mature, oval to round, about 1-1, 5 cm length. Licuala spinosa requires exhibitions: shade, semi-shade, light, Sun. He loves the soil wet and kept as such, while being sufficiently dewatering.
